When your $300 free trial expires in 90 days you will still have the free Google Maps $200 per month we are interested in. This would be for VERY advanced users that use Google cloud features like online servers and virtual machines. You will not be using this amount for PP charts. The Google Cloud Platform $300 free trial is a one-time thing that is good for 90 days. You will be creating a Google Cloud Platform account in order to get the free Google Maps Platform that you actually want to use with PP. Read the three short paragraphs on the page. I chose the Google account I use with my primary Android phone which already had a credit card associated. If you have multiple Google accounts, it will be easier if you pick one that also has a payment method and credit card connected to the account. This could be any Google account that you use for gmail or any of the other products. Treat your private key just like a credit card or password that should be protected. That of course should never happen, but you will need to protect your account as shown below to make sure your account is not abused. The card will never be charged unless you go over the free $200 per month allowed. You will need a credit card to set up the account. You are going to be looking at the same Google Cloud Platform used by large corporations with complete Information Technology staff that normally handles these things. We are dealing with Google here, so things get a bit complicated at times.

The procedure will be good practice for the Google Maps procedure below. If you have not already obtained your own personal MapQuest key, I would first suggest you do that. Some of those might use more advanced features which cost more than the basic static maps.

So, that means your $200 would allow 100,000 of these static maps every month! A Google Maps key will also allow you to use Google Maps in any other software you might have. Google pricing for these static maps is $2.00 for 1,000 requests. Now anyone that wants to can get their very own personal Google Maps key with a free $200 allowance per month. Due to rising costs Bev previously allowed users to purchase Google Maps credits for use within PP. All users of Bev's COAA software (just not PP) have always been using COAA's own Google key for access to their products. For any replies, please do NOT include my entire e-mail in the reply.
